  • Organizational MissionBig Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana is proud to be a member of the Learn United Collaborative.  We are happy to form strong, long-lasting one-to-one relationships that will help students build literacy skills.

Since opening their doors in 1972, Big Brothers Big Sisters has continued to partner with the community to help children reach their potential through positive, professionally supported one-to-one relationships with measurable impact.  In 2010, the hard work and commitment of its donors and volunteers made it possible to help children by supporting them in more than 1,600 matches. Currently, Big Brothers Big Sisters has more than 1,300 “Little’s” actively matched with a “Big”. However, there are still more than 650 young adolescents still waiting for a “Big”.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nonprofit organization that serves children in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley counties in Indiana and Branch, Hillsdale and St. Joseph counties in Michigan.
